Painting Classes
Thank you to everyone who has asked to be an instructor for our inaugural Kill Team Open! We’ve been working tirelessly the past few days to whittle through all the people who have been submitting requests to teach workshops at the Kill Team Open and are proud to announce the class schedule and instructors for this year’s Kill Team Open. If you weren’t able to apply in time, or didn’t make the cut this year, don’t fret, there is extremely limited space this year, but we will be expanding the event in the future, and are looking for talented instructors, hobbyists, and creatives to lead up our 2023 Kill Team Open lineup of classes! Sunday 9:00AM - 12:30PM Head Painting Class with Will Hahn
The incredible Will Hahn (@sik_willy_miniature_art) will be hosting an incredible workshop dedicated to painting gaming miniature heads, with a 30 minute instructional lesson, 1 hour paint demo, and 2 hours of student work and hands on coaching.
Sunday 9:00AM - 12:30PM Kitbashing Class with Josh Berman
The talented Josh Berman (@quarterpaint) will be hosting a cool workshop dedicated to kitbashing gaming models. There will be a truly epic bitz box to grab from available, courtesy of Kill Team Stream, and Josh will go over the basics of creating your very own custom miniatures!
Sunday 1:30PM - 5:00PM Basic Non-Metallic Metal Painting Class with Will Hahn
Will Hahn (@sik_willy_miniature_art) once again returns with a can’t-miss workshop dedicated to introducing you to non-metallic metal painting, with a 30 minute instructional lesson, 1 hour paint demo, and 2 hours of student work and hands on coaching.
Sunday 1:30PM - 5:00PM Sculpting Class with Josh Berman
Finally, Josh Berman (@quarterpaint) will be returning to teach the intricacies of sculpting unique parts for miniatures. The class will delve into what it truly takes to make your visions come to life in your miniature art, and help you sculpt truly unique works of miniature art!
In addition to teaching classes, Josh and Will will be judges for our brand new painting competition Squad Goals! We’re truly excited to be working with these world class painters and have them on board to bring the Kill Team Open to the next level! You truly can’t miss these amazing Sunday Workshops.
