Painting Competition!

Big Announcement! We've teamed up with Listening To Paint Dry with Mike and Dan to bring you an incredible, one of a kind, Kill Team themed painting competition. Only at the Kill Team Open! For only a $5 entry per category, we will have some incredible prizes available!

Dan from the Listening to Paint Dry Podcast has years of experience running painting competitions and has stepped in to run an amazing competition at our event. Entries will be judged by professional painters and a special guest head judge. Anyone can sign up, as long as you are playing in one of the tournaments or have a general admission ticket!

Models will be held in a safely secured display cabinet throughout the event, and judging will be done Saturday February 19th. Prizes will be awarded Sunday February 20th during the Award Ceremony. Special dispensation will be given to players who are playing in the Championships event to be allowed to use the models during play, but those models have to be returned to the display at the end of the event.

We’ll be judging two different categories at the event, the first is the CHAMPION CATEGORY for a single model. [Single 28mm scale model from the current or previous edition of Kill Team. All models must be legal models in the current or previous edition of Kill Team. Single figures should be on a display base and may include ancillary models necessary to the setting of a scene. Each entrant may not submit more than a single entry into the competition.] The second category is the FIRETEAM CATEGORY for a group of Five (5) models. [A single squad of Five (5) models from the current or previous edition of Kill Team. All models must be legal models in the current or previous edition of Kill Team, but cannot exceed 5 models total. Choose your best Five models displayed as a cohesive unit. Entries for this category should be submitted on a single base or stand to reduce model handling and to indicate they are part of a single submission. Each entrant may not submit more than a single entry into the competition.]

If you think you’ve got what it takes to win the most epic Kill Team painting competition ever created, then come prove it at the Kill Team Open!
